Convert your trial to a paid plan

Upgrade from a free trial to a paid Scanix plan with no interruption to the desktop app.

The smoothest way to keep using Scanix is to convert your trial to a paid plan before it expires. The new license takes over without you re-entering anything in the desktop app.

Upgrade

  1. Sign in and go to /pricing.
  2. Pick a tier (Standard, Pro, or Enterprise) and a billing interval (monthly or yearly).
  3. Click Get started on the tier you want.
  4. You'll land on Stripe Checkout. Enter your payment details and click Subscribe.
  5. Stripe redirects you back to Scanix. We issue your paid license and email you a receipt.

Your new license appears at /account/licenses within a few seconds. The desktop app picks it up at its next license check (usually within a minute on an online machine).

Which tier should I pick?

Yearly vs monthly

Yearly billing saves about 17% compared to monthly. You can switch between them later from /account/billing — Stripe prorates the difference automatically.

What happens to my trial license?

When the paid license is issued, your trial license is revoked. The desktop app uses whichever license is currently valid; you don't need to re-enter a key or restart anything.

If checkout fails or you abandon it, your trial keeps running until the original 30-day expiry.

Troubleshooting

"Checkout said success but my license is still 'trial'." Refresh /account/licenses. It can take a few seconds for the paid license to appear after Stripe confirms the payment. If it's still missing after a couple of minutes, contact support with your Stripe receipt — we can issue the license manually if our automation hiccupped.

"My card was declined." Check your card details and try again. If it keeps failing, your bank may be blocking the charge — contact them, or use a different card. Stripe also supports many local payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay, regional banks); the checkout page shows what's available in your country.

"I want to upgrade but I'm part of a team." For team subscriptions (3+ seats with shared billing), pick Pro for small teams or contact sales for Enterprise.
