Email preferences
Choose which Scanix emails you want to receive.
We send three categories of email. You can opt in or out of each one independently.
Manage your preferences
- Sign in and go to /account/email-preferences.
- Toggle each category on or off.
- Changes save automatically (no separate Save button).
What each category covers
Account & security — sign-in notifications from new devices, password change confirmations, security alerts. You can't turn these off — they protect your account.
License & trial reminders — trial-expiring notifications (3 days before), trial-ended emails, license renewal reminders. Recommended on; turning these off means a trial can lapse without warning.
Product updates & marketing — new feature announcements, product news, occasional tips. Off by default; opt in if you want the updates.
What's not affected
These emails go through whether or not you've opted in:
- Verification emails when you sign up or change your email address
- Password reset links when you request them
- Magic sign-in links when you request them
- Receipts and invoices for paid subscriptions
- Support ticket replies when you have an open ticket
Those are transactional and tied to actions you take.
Troubleshooting
"I'm still getting emails I unsubscribed from." Preferences take effect on the next email cycle (usually within 24 hours). If you're still receiving an email more than 48 hours after unsubscribing, contact support with the email subject line.
"I want to unsubscribe from everything." Opt out of every optional category here, then delete your account if you also want us to stop processing your data altogether.
