Update your profile

Change your name, email, or password from the account settings page.

Your profile lives at scanix.co/account/settings and covers the basics: display name, email address, and password.

Change your display name

  1. Sign in and go to /account/settings.
  2. Update the Name field.
  3. Click Save.

The new name shows up on receipts, support tickets, and any team page where you're listed.

Change your password

  1. Go to /account/settings.
  2. Scroll to the Password section.
  3. Enter your current password and the new password twice.
  4. Click Update password.

You'll stay signed in. Use the new password the next time you sign in.

If you signed up with Google, you don't have a Scanix password yet. Click Set a password to add one — useful as a fallback if you lose access to your Google account.

Change your email address

Email changes need verification of the new address before they take effect.

  1. Go to /account/settings.
  2. Update the Email field with your new address.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Open the verification email sent to the new address.
  5. Click Verify email.

Until you verify, your old email keeps working. After verification, your old email stops working immediately and the new one becomes your sign-in address.

What happens next

  • Receipts and invoices start going to your new email.
  • Support ticket notifications also move to the new email.
  • License keys you've already received still work — they're tied to your account, not your email address.

Troubleshooting

"My new email never received the verification." Check spam. Check that you typed the address correctly. If it's still missing, change the email back to your old address, save, then try again.

"Update password fails with 'incorrect current password.'" That's the password you currently use to sign in (not the new one). If you've forgotten it, reset your password instead.
