Scanix is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the email address you provide on account creation, payment information processed by Stripe (we never store raw card numbers), and device hardware identifiers used for license seat enforcement.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to authenticate your account, manage your subscription, deliver product updates, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted.

4. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@scanix.co.

5. Cookies

We classify cookies into two categories. Your choices are remembered in a first-party cookie (scanix_cc) for 12 months.

  • Essential — always on. Includes the authentication session cookie, your theme preference, and the consent choice itself. The site does not function without these.
  • Analytics (optional) — off until you click Accept all. Used to measure aggregate usage so we can improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
